Her latest Kisses can fly collection features 80 pieces ranging from avant-garde dresses to tongue-in-cheek t-shirts. Her style caught the eye of fellow Martians (a.k.a editors of Vogue Nippon). In collaboration with Comme des Garcons, the magazine recently opened a concept pop-up store in Tokyo which boasts specially made products from Chanel, Chlo, Pierre Hardy, Lanvin and Asli Filinta. Based somewhere between New York and Istanbul, Asli mixes Grand Bazaar exotique-ness with Brooklyn anti-conformism.
